Xenomai seminar was successfully held, and Sinsegye was invited to participate

Recently, the Xenomai community, jointly organized by Siemens and Intel, held its first China on-site workshop in Wuxi. The main purpose of this workshop was to discuss the latest developments in Xenomai technology, share the latest research results in this field, and provide better tools and technical support for developers, testers, and system administrators. Experts, scholars, and industry professionals from various fields attended this workshop, engaging in in-depth discussions and exchanges on the application and prospects of Xenomai technology. Sinsegye, as the only domestic manufacturer that has achieved mass-produced product-level applications, was invited to attend this workshop, showcasing the company's achievements in dual-kernel products and engaging in extensive exchanges and discussions with participating peers.

  

At the workshop, experts from well-known industry enterprises such as Siemens and Intel respectively gave detailed introductions to the application of Xenomai in their respective fields. Among them, Song Jianwei, Embedded and Operating System Product Expert at Sinsegye, explained in detail the application of industrial intelligent machine products in integrated industrial computing and control scenarios, giving the participating representatives a deeper understanding of the application of Xenomai and PC architecture in the field of industrial automation.

He mentioned that since its establishment, Sinsegye has been committed to the research and development and production of PC-architecture-based integrated computing and control industrial intelligent machine products. Among them, the SX20 and SX21 models of industrial intelligent machines integrate the Haiguang 3000 series CPUs developed bySugon, while the SX5 model integrates Intel's low-power Atom series CPUs, and the SP70 model integrates Intel's Core i5/i7 series CPUs.

  

In addition, in the past two years, Sinsegye has deeply integrated with the Codesys ecosystem and launched MetaFacture/MetaRTE software based on the Codesys platform. Currently, Sinsegye is the only manufacturer in the world that has achieved compatibility between the Codesys platform and the Xenomai kernel ecosystems, and has applied for relevant domestic and international patents. These two software products not only inherit the IEC61131-3 programming, compilation, downloading, operation, SoftMotion, CNC, and other functions of Codesys itself, but also integrate hundreds of function blocks independently developed by Sinsegye. Sinsegye has also developed the MetaOS dual-domain operating system and MetaHypervisor virtualization management software.

  

The three goals pursued by integrated computing and control: stability, control, and computing power.

  

In terms of control real-time performance, Xenomai provides stable output of 128 axes 1ms DC synchronization, with jitter still less than 30 microseconds even when the non-real-time domain CPU and GPU are fully loaded, ensuring control real-time performance and process accuracy requirements. In terms of computing power, it mainly relies on hardware support from Intel, Haiguang, Nvidia, Cambricon, etc. Through software-defined methods on industrial intelligent machines, flexible allocation and application of computing power are achieved. The integrated computing and control design concept makes industrial intelligent machine products the computing cornerstone of a new generation of industrial sites, bringing computerized automation solutions to users. This also reflects the many advantages and improvements of integrated computing and control in control system architecture. The emergence of industrial intelligent machines has solved a series of key problems such as difficulty in OT and IT integration, high computing power demands, mutual interference, high costs, and reliability issues. Stability is the primary goal pursued by all control systems.
