At the end of March 2026, Ma Jun, CEO of Sinsegye, and his delegation paid an on-site visit to the coal washing plant of Liyazhuang Coal Mine in Shanxi. They conducted an in-depth investigation into the current status of intelligent transformation in the coal washing and dressing industry, and inspected the implementation progress of the full-process intelligent solution for coal washing jointly developed by Sinsegye and Changhe Information. By leveraging integrated computing & control plus AI technologies, the solution addresses industry pain points and injects new impetus into the high-quality development of coal washing and dressing.

   

Industry Pain Points: Superficial Intelligent Transformation, Urgent Need for Transition

  

The intelligent transformation of the current coal washing and dressing industry is facing multiple bottlenecks with prominent core problems:

  

  • Low intelligent level and extensive management in plants; most transformations stay at the conceptual level, making it difficult to break through information silos.
  • The full-process intelligence lacks a solid foundation of intelligent single equipment, failing to realize real closed-loop control and management.
  • Traditional ash content detection takes 3–4 hours and cannot guide production in real time, leading to long-standing problems such as reagent waste and coal quality fluctuation.

   

Breakthrough Solution: Sinsegye × Changhe Information Builds Full-Process Intelligent Solution

   

In line with the policy direction of the Opinions on Accelerating the High-Quality Development of Coal Washing and Dressing issued by the National Energy Administration, Sinsegye has deeply cooperated with Changhe Information. With iComputer as the core computing power base, we have built an integrated solution of intelligent single equipment + centralized control and scheduling brain, realizing a leapfrog upgrade of coal washing technology from "manual experience" to "data-driven".

During this inspection, the delegation focused on verifying the complete set of intelligent equipment to be implemented at Liyazhuang Coal Mine, covering the entire process from raw coal → screening → flotation → thickening → pressure filtration.

Relying on the high computing power and hard real-time communication advantages of iComputer, combined with university theoretical algorithms and Sinsegye's Univision vision operators, five core pieces of equipment empower key links of coal washing:

  

  • Online Pulp Ash Analyzer: Adopts SP7022 iComputer + SRE series IO modules, equipped with X-ray fluorescence processing algorithm and dynamic self-learning algorithm. Ash detection time is shortened from 3–4 hours to 1–10 minutes, realizing real-time feedback of clean coal quality.
  • Tailings Image Ash Analyzer: Adopts SP7022 iComputer + Univision vision algorithm to accurately monitor tailings ash content, prevent coal resource loss, and ensure detection data highly matches laboratory results.
  • Online Surface Tension Analyzer: Adopts SP7010 iComputer to intuitively reflect the dosage of foaming agent and collector, providing core process basis for precise dosing.
  • Intelligent Dosing Station: Adopts SP7010 iComputer to dynamically adjust reagent dosage based on multi-dimensional data collection and analysis, realizing reagent consumption statistics and trend prediction.
  • Digital Twin Scheduling Center: Built with SP5040 series hosts as the core, carrying digital twin platform and AI agent deployment. It presents full-process data through multi-screen visualization, breaks down data barriers of all single equipment, and realizes unified scheduling and intelligent decision-making, serving as the "intelligent brain" of the coal washing plant. The solution also saves installation space and reduces overall hardware costs, laying a reliable foundation for intelligent transformation.

   

Implementation Progress: Modular Replication Empowers Industry-Wide Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement

   

At present, this set of intelligent solutions has been successfully implemented in 2 coal washing plants, 3 more are to be implemented,and the Liyazhuang Coal Mine project is about to be fully deployed.

   

The core advantages of the solution are prominent: iComputer achieves multi-functionality in one machine, integrating computing, control and vision, replacing multiple traditional discrete hardware. It greatly reduces the number of equipment purchases, cuts hardware and later operation and maintenance costs, simplifies on-site wiring and installation processes, and significantly improves space utilization.

  

All equipment adopts modular and replicable design, adapting to the transformation needs of various coal washing plants and supporting rapid large-scale promotion.

  

From the industry value perspective, the intelligent dosing system can save 10%–15% of reagent consumption. With an annual coal washing volume of over 3 billion tons in China, intelligent transformation has huge potential for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Taking Shanxi as a pilot, Sinsegye's solutions will gradually expand to core coal-producing areas such as Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi and Xinjiang, activating the upgrading momentum of the national coal washing industry from point to area.
