Sinsegye's MetaOS Debuts at CCF Open-Source Conference Sub-Forum: Xenomai Empowers Industrial Control Intelligentization

In the era of surging digital waves, open-source technology, with its inherent nature of open collaboration, is driving industrial upgrading and fueling the vitality of technological innovation. On August 2, the 2025 CCF China Open-Source Conference, hosted by the China Computer Federation (CCF), kicked off splendidly in Shanghai. Under the theme of "Gathering Momentum to Lead, Walking Together for a Distant Future", this conference brought together frontline experts and open-source leaders from academia and industry to discuss the cutting-edge progress and collaborative paths of open-source technology.

As a pioneer in the field of industrial control intelligentization, Sinsegye was invited to participate in the conference's sub-forum themed "Xenomai Open-Source Real-Time Operating System and Industrial Intelligence Innovation Ecosystem". Song Jianwei, an expert in embedded systems and operating system products at Sinsegye, delivered a keynote speech entitled The Real-Time Engine for Edge Intelligence: MetaOS with Embedded Xenomai Drives the Industrial Control Intelligentization and took part in the roundtable discussion, engaging in in-depth exchanges on the development and application of Xenomai in China.

In his speech, Song Jianwei elaborated on Sinsegye's innovative practices based on the iComputer and MetaOS dual-domain operating system. By embedding the Xenomai real-time kernel, MetaOS achieves the integration of computing and control, addressing such drawbacks in traditional industrial control systems as closed architecture, insufficient scalability, and lack of  edge-side computing power. Its unique dual-domain architecture (real-time domain and non-real-time domain) not only supports high-real-time tasks but also provides a solid computing power foundation for intelligent applications such as large AI models and visual inspection. In addition, MetaOS's low-overhead virtualization technology, rich set of developer tools, and security design integrated into the system offer a brand-new paradigm for the intelligent upgrading of industrial control.

  

Sinsegye's solutions have been successfully implemented in multiple industrial scenarios, including oil equipment monitoring, foldable phone aging testing, and intelligent crystal pulling for single crystal furnaces. These solutions have significantly reduced hardware and labor costs while improving production efficiency and product yield. Such practices fully demonstrate the enormous potential of integrating open-source real-time technology with industrial intelligence.

  

This conference provided Sinsegye with a platform for in-depth exchanges with academia and industry, further promoting the application and development of Xenomai and open-source real-time technologies in China's industrial sector.
