On December 15th, a seminar on digital steel construction was held at Northeastern University. Guo Hai pointed out in his speech that General Secretary Xi Jinping's important reply fully affirmed the school's mission of "always nurturing people and promoting the country" and its positive contributions to the country and the nation, and put forward earnest expectations for the future development of the school. The hundred year history of Northeastern University is a history of self-improvement and struggle that shares the same destiny with the motherland and the honor and disgrace with Northeast China. Every key node of the school's transformation and development is closely linked to the needs of the country. In the new era, the university has anchored the goal of "world-class university with Chinese characteristics playing a leading role in the process of China's new industrialization", and is determined to make new and greater contributions to promoting the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China and promoting Chinese path to modernization.

   

Guo Hai emphasized that to promote new industrialization, schools should further leverage their technological innovation advantages in metallurgy, information and other fields, strengthen organized scientific research, and use digital and intelligent technology breakthroughs to promote quality, efficiency and power changes in the steel industry, continuously creating new formats and tracks. Northeastern University is willing to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with all colleagues in the steel industry, firmly grasp the strategic opportunity of the construction of new industrialization, focus on the frontier of science and technology and key issues in the development of new industrialization, promote talent training, scientific research and social services in an integrated manner, and make new contributions to promoting Chinese path to modernization.

   

CCID Research Institute is willing to work together with Northeastern University to strengthen deep cooperation in the field of digital steel and jointly promote the digitalization and digital industrialization of the steel industry.

Wang Guodong pointed out that to promote the high-quality development of new industrialization, the steel industry needs to build a digital transformation infrastructure base, implement "smart transformation to digital transformation", "digital brain replacement" and "model replacement", and accelerate digital transformation; We should give full play to the advantages of data resources and application scenarios in the steel industry, integrate the real economy of the steel industry with the digital economy and digital technology, vigorously build the innovation infrastructure of steel enterprises, build a model project of the full process and integrated AI generation of steel, take the road of new industrialization with digital empowerment, greening, high-quality, strong chain, and strive to improve the international competitiveness of China's steel industry, making China's steel industry a model of Chinese path to modernization and an internationally leading industrial cluster.

  

Tang Lixin said that to build new quality productivity in the steel industry, it is necessary to further strengthen the research and development of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and industrial Internet, fully release the amplification, superposition, and multiplication effects of digital development, and accelerate the improvement of industry quality and efficiency; We must adhere to the organized scientific research model, strengthen organized industrial cooperation, focus on key core issues, target industry difficulties and pain points, strengthen technological breakthroughs, deepen industry collaboration, and focus on promoting digital technology from linear growth to exponential growth in digital infrastructure construction, enterprise efficiency improvement, and low-carbon green transformation, effectively injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of China's steel industry.

  

At the meeting, attendees reported, exchanged and conducted in-depth discussions on key digital steel technologies and digital transformation cases of steel enterprises.
