Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) is a lightweight, publish/sub based messaging protocol designed to connect devices and applications in constrained environments. MQTT uses a TCP/IP-based transmission mechanism, which has the characteristics of low bandwidth, low overhead, and high efficiency, and is suitable for various network conditions and device types. The core idea is that the Publisher publishes a message to a topic, and the subscriber receives the message by subscribing to a specific topic. MQTT supports multiple quality levels of Quality of Service (QoS), including At Most Once, At Least Once, and Exactly Once, to ensure reliable and sequential messaging. MQTT is widely used in the Internet of Things, real-time communication, and sensor networks, providing a reliable message transmission mechanism for connecting and interacting distributed systems.
